De retour! Back on track!

Oui, oui, on a pas poste depuis un petit bail et c’est pas bien, boooo nous!
Mais bon, on a eu de bonnes raisons…

Pour commencer, on a fait un petit detour par la case hopital (damn you indian food !). C’était rigolo tout plein, le docteur avait la dimension humaine d’un caillou au soleil et certaines infirmieres etaient aussi comprehensives qu’un requin marteau. Mais en dehors de ca, l’hopital était tres serieux, nous avions une chambre individuelle ou Gearoid beneficiait meme d’un petit lit pour pouvoir rester avec moi (quel veinard), et le reste du personnel soignant était tres competent et agreable. Cependant, entre le sejour dans la chambre blanche et la convalescence a l’hotel/sur la plage (quand les temps furent meilleurs), nous avons ete immobilises pendant 10 jours car nous etions censes partir vendredi 5 mars… Restons positifs : nous sommes en Inde a se palucher sur la plage sous 30 degres celcius lorsque tout le monde est au travail et meme, pour certains, sous la neige (je cherche pas a faire rager je precise! Juste consciente de notre situation). Nous venons d’acheter notre ticket de train et partons mercredi soir par train de nuit pour Kochi, dans le Kerala. En plus, 10 jours sur 6 mois, ca passe inapercu!

Ensuite, nous avions change d’hotel pour s’installer dans un endroit cense avoir le wi-fi mais nous n’en avons pas vu le bout du nez en 15 jours. J’imagine qu’on a surement pas du bien lire la grosse pancarte « FREE WI-FI » a l’entree (en meme temps on va pas se plaindre a 300 roupies la chambre, cad 5 euros). Toujours est-il que le gerant du cyber cafe, bien qu’il soit devenu notre copain, a ses prix et que le temps qu’on y passe est surtout dedie aux emails.
Enfin bon, nous voila de retour et c’est le principal non ?

Ok, ok, we haven’t posted for a little while, it’s bad and boooo us !
But well, we had a few good reasons…

First of all, we went on a little trip to the hospital (damn you Indian food!). It was fun, the doctor was as human as a stone and some nurses were as understanding as a hammer head shark. But other than that, the hospital was high standard, we had a private room where Gearoid even had his own bed so that he was able to stay with me (lucky him), and the rest of the staff were very nice and competent. However, the stay at the hospital and the recovery time in the hotel room/at the beach made us lose 10 days since we were supposed to take the train on Friday the 5th of march... But let’s stay positives: we’re in India chilling out in 30 degrees, while everyone is at work and, as I’ve heard for some, in the snow (I precise that I’m not trying to be nasty, but just conscious of our situation). We just bought our train ticket and are leaving to Kochi, in the Kerala, by night train on Wednesday afternoon. Plus, 10 days on 6 months isn’t too bad!

Second of all, we changed hotel to settle in a place supposed to have wireless but it has been 15 days we’re there and there’s still no sign of internet. I guess we probably didn’t read well the big sign “FREE WIRELESS” at the entry (on the other hand, it’s hard to complain with a room at 300 ruppies the night, which means 5 euros). Even if the manager of the internet cafe became our friend, he still has his prices and the time we spend there is mostly dedicated to emails job.
Anyway, we’re back on the blog and that’s the most important, isn’t it?
