3 weeks in Phuket/ 3 semaines a Phuket

A Phuket, il y a un air de vacances et malgre toutes les bonnes intentions de visiter les environs, on s'est laisses prendre par le rythme cool de cet endroit et apres 5 mois de vadrouille: c'est pas plus mal!!
On a donc mene notre train-train et pris nos marques. Avoir une "maison" ca change vraiment tout!

In Phuket, there's something holiday-like in the air and despite all our good intentions of visiting the surroundings, we let ourselves being caught by the cool rhythm of this place and after 5 months of travelling: it was welcomed!
We therefore settled and got into a nice routine. Having a "home" really changes everything!

Pour commencer, on a loue un scooter car ici c'est indispensable:

To start, we rented a scooter because here, it's a necessity:

Ensuite on s'est fait pas mal de plage et meme un peu de surf avec un prof que vous connaissez tous:

Then, we did quite a lot of beach sessions and even a bit of surf with a teacher you all know well:

On s'est tape pas mal de Sang Som-coke (rhum-coca) sur la plage et plein de salade a la papaye:

We had quite a few Sang-Som-coke (rum-coke) on the beach and loads of papaya salad:

On a fait pas mal de sauts a la librairie d'occasion du quartier (on peut difficilement imaginer mieux!) :

We went pretty often to the second-hand bookshop (it's quite difficult to imagine a better place!) :

On s'est meme fait notre premier cinema en 5 mois (oui parce que la moitie de film en Hindi a Kochi ca compte pas completement!):

We even went to the cinema, first time in 5 months (yes well the half-movie in Hindi in Kochi doesnt entirely count!)

Et puis bien sur, Ella and Niamh nous ont emmene faire la bringue a la thai dans leur QG, une soiree comme on les aime. Non alcoolisee bien sur

And of course, Ella and Niamh brought us to a thai night-out in their local pub, good night indeed. No alcohol involved of course
